Rosacea is a common skin condition that often begins with tendency to blush or flush more easily than other people. The redness may come and go at first, but it eventually becomes permanent. Other common symptoms of rosacea include small bumps and pimples, inflammation, and thickening of the skin.

Rosacea is a chronic and often progressive disorder that primarily affects the face. The exact cause of rosacea is unknown, but it is thought to be due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Rosacea may be a genetic predisposition for the condition.
Environmental factors that may contribute to rosacea include sunlight, cold and windy weather, excessive exertion and others.
